Solar Grid along side the RCS Giving Garden at our Corporate Office

We work on construction projects that are designed, built, renovated, operated, or reused in an ecological and resource-efficient manner to reduce their overall impact to the environment.

But our contribution to protecting both the environment and climate begins within and outside the walls of this company.

The sustainable management of the environment and use of natural resources is a crucial constituent of Retail Construction. Against this backdrop, we pursued a comprehensive, sustainable energy concept that would place emphasis on energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.

In 2010, Retail Construction Services, Inc. began working with Kevin Nyenhuis from Able Energy Co. on a solar project to bring renewable energy to our corporate office. Solar equipment from Patriot Solar Group was proposed, and, this summer, a 10.0 kW High-Eind Fixed Horizontal PV System was installed along the perimeter of our Giving Garden.
